Appendix 1: The Research Plan
Write a content overview of your research of no more than three pages (A4). Address the following questions concisely, but as clearly and precisely as possible.
Context of the proposed research
1) What problem are you investigating?
2) What is the legal nature of this problem?
3) Why is this problem academically and socially relevant?
4) What is the aim of your research?
Research questions
5) What is your main research question? Note that this must be a legal question.
6) Which sub-questions follow from the main research question?
Methodology
7) What issues must be examined in order to answer the main research question?
8) Which sources will you use?
9) Which relevant case law is available and which viewpoints can be identified in this case law?
10) Which relevant academic literature exists on this topic and which viewpoints can be identified in the literature? Provide a short and concise overview.
Structure
11) What will be discussed in each chapter of your thesis?

12) Prepare a provisional bibliography and attach it as a separate appendix.
